Stitchplot Studio is the browser workspace where you turn a photo or artwork into a counted cross-stitch chart. Upload a PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG (or paste from the clipboard), choose how many colours you want, set an Aida or evenweave fabric count, and edit the grid before you export.
Every chart colour is matched to the nearest DMC thread code, from 1 to 10 colours. Each square on the chart is one full cross with its own symbol — Stitchplot's counted cross-stitch (CT) mode uses full crosses only. Fabric options cover Aida 11, 14, 16 and 18ct and evenweave 25, 28, 32 and 36ct (11–36ct), with finished size shown in inches or millimetres.
Creating, editing and downloading an editable SVG are free. A print-ready PDF uses one credit: Google sign-in includes three free PDF credits, and HK$29 adds three more as a one-time purchase — no subscription. High-contrast images with a clear subject convert best; busy photos usually need a little tidy-up in edit mode.
